Adding place settings and bar stools to the end of this large island help to show how many family members can eat here. Then we sprinkled greenery around the room to pull the outside in.
We chose the furniture pieces to blend in with the background so the space would still appear large. Popping the room with some color brings fun and personality.
When you have large areas that are not obvious what they would be used for, it's not good enough to have a big room. So we explained it by adding bookshelves and a desk.
All rooms look and feel better with window treatments, decorative pillows, rugs and accessories. It gives the impression of a succussful, put together environment, which people crave.
